Mjoellnir Making-Of

This is the making-of montage of the Mjöllnir pendant I've done in 2009.

Very special thanks to my former boss for 3D printing my creation and to Éric Litalien [link] for the precious help while creating the silicone cast and plastic replicas.

The 3D modelling was made on Solid Works 2008.

The molded replicas were made with white polyurethane resin.

The paints used were automotive gray lacquer primer and silver lacquer paint over it. I then applied black oil-translucent paint with a brush and partly wiped it off with a normal towel to get the tarnished metal effect. I finished off with 3 coats of ceramics gloss to protect the paint and get a nice finish.
